FEATURED PARTNERS

At the very heart of CityGate’s work is to build connections between churches and organizations in Greater Vancouver in order to bring transformation to our communities, believing in God’s creative and redemptive purpose. We work to bring about this transformation alongside valued partners who share our passion for our city and for God’s kingdom to be reflected through His people who live here.

The Centre for Missional Leadership at St. Andrew’s Hall offers a Certificate in Missional Leadership for individuals and congregational teams. The three-year program focuses on “Forming and Reforming Communities of Christ in a Secular Age” with the first year specifically exploring “Missional foundations during Covid and Beyond”.  The aim of this program is to resource, strengthen and widen the ministry of the churches across denominations or networks. Each month, a learning opportunity is made available for church pastors, leaders and community developers.  We believe that this course of study for congregational teams of clergy and lay people can be a way of a helping your churches to envision a hopeful future.

Creating Conversation: A weekly editorial for people to spark dialogue with the Church in Vancouver. How do we foster better conversations among different churches and Christ followers in Vancouver about issues that matter? That question in part is what has prompted Tim to work alongside Flyn Ritchie in curating an opinion editorial column most weeks in the Church for Vancouver. In this column, different people will be invited to speak to the Church in metro Vancouver. Our hope is to invite people who have an important word for our city to write an op/ed that will stimulate our imaginations for how we might share in God’s restoring work in our city.
